We stand in the gap through philanthropy to assist alleviate poverty, disease and ignorance through provision of charity water projects in needy rural and urban communities in Africa.

Greentec Water Africa has initiated environment conservation efforts in Kenya through planting of trees and forest cover to mitigate climate change and vision 2030.

We have embarked on some ambitious programmes to conserve the environment and educate the local communities on importance of tree planting by pratically getting into villages and demonstrating how this is done and the benefits of planting trees. Our target is to plant 10,000,000 trees within the next five years.

We have started planting bamboo plants along river beds so that they hold run off rain water and as a result create build more water catchment areas to plant more. Some species of bamboo are drought tolerant thus do not require alot of water, yet bamboo has very high market value in furniture making.

We have mobilized communities to come together and form groups that will take care of the planting and maintenance. Bamboo plants are generally low maintenance species and once the community groups have planted these, maintenance is of little worry.

We are targeting working with the unemployed school leavers and local women who have no jobs and as a result empowering them through this programme.

Our commitment is 'We plant one tree for every dollar or pound donated'.
